Leaving Cert 2022
Congratulations to our Leaving cert class of 2022. This year 20% of our students achieved over 500 points and are studying courses such as Politics & Society, Architecture, Arts and Design among others. We wish them all the best in their studies and future careers.
Olympics 2024 Here we come
Well done to our former student Dean Clancy who became an Under 22 European Champion over the Summer! Dean previously finished fourth at the 2018 Youth Olympics and has his sights set on the Paris 2024 Olympics. We have no doubt Dean is going to the very top. Well done!
As part of Science Week all our Year groups and An Grianan have been making Elephant's Toothpaste. Our 5th Years have also been making Immoblised Enzymes. Our 6th Years have been busy isolating DNA from a plant. Our Junior Students are carrying out Food Test for Reducing Sugar. Many thanks to Ms Wooley, Ms Wymbs and Ms Walsh for their excellent work in organising all the activities.

Architect in the making
Aidan Lockhart, one of our sixth year students had a traineeship organised for him after his leaving cert thanks to Mr White and Ms Heaphy. As part of this he was offered paid placement in a local company ENGdoc. Congratulations to him on passing his Autodesk Certified Professional CAD exam in Revit by September having only completed his leaving cert in June. We wish him the best of luck with his future studies in architecture.
Art Competion Winner
5th Year student Weronica Matczak was recently selected as a finalist in the texaco art competition. Well done - she was awarded a Special Merit award for this piece- some excellent art work I think youll agree.
